Best chair EVER <3
A student from my Uni made this chair…gave it a little test at New Designers, it was far too hot anyway that day but I can imagine come Winter it would be lovely to come home and have this little beaut’ in your front room.

So, I’ve been feeling a bit sucky about the fact that I haven’t been able to get a job yet this summer therefore have no money, but this kinda puts things into perspective and made me feel a whole lot better about what I do have…sounds pretty cringe but I guess I am pretty lucky really <3
Dr. Martens 50th Anniversary
To celebrate Dr. Martens 50th anniversary 10 artists were asked to record their own version of a classic song which embodies the spirit of D.M wearers over the past 50 years.
The Cinematic Orchestra have covered ‘Lilac Wine’, it’s such a relaxing song to listen to (I’ve just sat here and listened to it like 4 times now!) but what I really love is the beautiful, flowing illustrations in the video, they’re so simple but really pretty.

I’m not normally one to get super excited over a website, but I love the Fashion Graphics website I just found. It has the cutest video that plays when the website is opening up…it’s the first time I’ve felt really inspired to have a go at making a stop motion video. That may be something to add to the ‘to-do’ list for summer!

I love the typography on the show, and this little set…but mainly I just love the clothes <3
Topshop launched their make up range today, I think I’ll have to take a trip to Oxford Circus to get some soon. I really like the look of the nude lipstick and nail polish, my make up bag definitely needs a nice neutral ‘everyday’ lipstick.

Heston’s Feasts
I just watched Heston’s Chocolate Factory Feast on 4od, it was fascinating! I wish he’d cook dinner for me sometime.
